Wasing Park is a storybook wedding estate on 4,000 verdant acres of Berkshire countryside, just an hour from London. At its heart lies the beautifully restored Grade II-listed Castle Barn, complemented by historic and charming ceremony spaces for up to 160 guests: the light-filled Garden Room with its oak beams and sandstone floors, the al fresco Victorian Summerhouse framed by ancient trees and the neighbouring 15th-century Parish Church of St Nicholas. Exclusivity is central to the Wasing experience: couples can enjoy the entire estate for a two or three-day wedding, enjoying immersive experiences from forest bathing, sauna and yoga to cricket matches, axe throwing, or Pimm’s picnics on the lawns. Guests can rest their heads in 26 thoughtfully styled rooms, including enchanting suites such as The Granary, The Dovecote, and a Honeymoon Suite, which boasts a sun terrace and roll-top bath. Dining follows Wasing’s “Estate to Plate” ethos, highlighting seasonal, organic produce, local meats, and artisan drinks for a wedding feast that ranges from fine dining to wood-fired pizza. With centuries of character, a commitment to sustainability, and a playful, elevated rustic style, Wasing Park offers an immersive, wellness-forward wedding experience deeply connected to nature
We are still on such a high after the most perfect day – the staff were absolutely incredible. It felt so calm and prepared; everything has been thought of. The food was amazing – our guests commented on how nice the food was. We had our ceremony in the church on-site, which was absolutely magical – Jane the Reverend went above and beyond before, during and after our wedding day to make it the most perfect, smooth-running celebration. Everyone was made to feel welcomed; no request was too much for the staff, and the grounds, rooms, church, chapel barn, stage, and every area was absolutely perfect. Our only negative is that it is over.

The Wasing team made our wedding day as perfect as it could have been. Everything looked exactly how I had imagined and was finished beautifully. The grounds are spectacular, and having enough accommodation on site for many guests to stay made for an even more magical experience. The food was incredible; every guest commented on how good it was. You would never know it was mass catering; it was delivered as fine dining. The service was impeccable; the whole day ran so smoothly, we were made to feel like royalty.
