About

A Cheshire country estate with echoes of royal visits gone by, 17th-century Scarlet Hall blends historic esteem with modern comfort for a multi-night wedding weekend. Under the Unique Homestays collection, the estate’s 12 acres of evergreen topiary and rolling countryside can be exclusively hired for an entire week, a generous time frame that ensures all guests can truly kick back and relax. Ceremonies can take place under the fairy-lit, garland-adorned timber beams of the rustic Events Barn – fully kitted out with an independent bar and commercial kitchen – with up to 100 guests (and note: weddings of more than 31 guests benefit from a complimentary wedding planner). Scarlet Hall’s English meadows and red apple orchard create idyllic backdrops for champagne receptions (and photos!), while the indoor heated pool and sauna add indulgence to weekend downtime. Moonlit evenings can be spent under a marquee pitched on the five-acre chequerboard lawn, and there is space for 22 guests to sleep over afterwards, with 11 well-appointed bedrooms. With attentive planning (from a team in the know with local suppliers) and a seamless mix of heritage and contemporary amenities, Scarlet Hall offers an intimate backdrop to stage a true home-from-home wedding week.

Why Our Editors Love

  • A country estate exclusively yours for the whole week, with accommodation for 22
  • Romantic-rustic spaces set in the tranquility of in-the-round countryside
  • A playground estate with heated pool, croquet lawn, and sauna
