Pylewell Park is the New Forest’s charming country house-cum-award-winning wedding venue by the sea. It’s less than two hours from London, yet feels worlds away, reached via a long, tree-lined drive that opens onto 58 acres of manicured parkland and sweeping views over the Solent. The estate thrives on individuality: the team, affectionately known as the ‘wedding wing women’ – Mel, Nicole, and Aby – toss out the rulebook to craft highly personalised bespoke weddings. The team are specialists in making the impossible possible, and the sky is literally the limit – they can arrange hot air balloons. At Plylewell, everything is entirely yours: the house, gardens, and private beach. Couples can exchange vows in a variety of stunning locations, from the intimate in-the-round Circular Lawn, set among rhododendrons, to the dramatic Main Sail, a nine-sail canopy accommodating up to 180 guests. Celebrations flow seamlessly around the estate, with guests lingering in sun-dappled gardens and convivial nooks. The house itself is a home from home – particularly so your dogs will be welcomed – sleeping up to 26 guests in 13 individually styled bedrooms (befitting Marie Antoinette, no less) with a designated three-bedroom penthouse ideal for the bridal party.
