On the edge of Bath, Minerva Vines is a working family vineyard on the Corston estate, with a glasshouse at its centre and 360-degree views of rolling hills – you can see Bath in the distance and an ancient hill fort crowns the horizon. It is run by third-generation farmer Emily Addicott-Sauvao and her husband Eddie, and the estate’s own award-winning wines punctuate the day; a vineyard tour and wine tasting come as standard. Couples have the run of the entire estate: you can marry in the Orangery, a light-filled glasshouse seating up to 120 (rising to 200 from 2027); in the Pavilion, with vineyard views on every side; or outside among the meadows and vines, with an easy flow between indoors and out whatever the season. Hire runs to one, two or three days, so couples can pace the celebration as they wish: welcome drinks among the vines, an outdoor ceremony under open sky, dinner, dancing and a slow brunch the morning after. The estate hosts one wedding at a time, with plush accommodation five minutes away at The Pig.
