Lucy Davenport Photography is a wedding photographer with a distinct editorial sensibility, honed during her time as Mario Testino’s photo assistant. While she studied Editorial Photography, she spent years assisting the legendary fashion photographer, gaining unique insight into composition, storytelling, and the nuances of light and detail that continue to inform her work. Lucy Davenport Photography has been photographing weddings for 15 years; from her first season, this editorial approach has set her apart.
With an eye honed by the narrative of fashion – and work gracing the pages of Vogue, Tatler, and Brides – and a love for capturing unguarded, authentic moments, she bottles the essence of the day, elevating it as it unfolds. Lucy, herself a calming presence, prioritises authenticity in her portraiture. Based in Oxfordshire, Lucy works extensively across the Cotswolds, though her lens often travels across the UK and abroad. Many of her clients host multi-day weddings at family homes or countryside estates, and Lucy blends seamlessly into these celebrations, observing as much as she photographs.
