Jamface founder Jo Mackay is a British makeup artist, hair stylist and brow specialist with more than 20 years’ experience across the international fashion and beauty industries. Trained in London in fashion and editorial makeup, she has moved through the circuits of television, runway, red carpet and high-fashion shoots, steadily honing an eye for beauty looks that read cleanly through a camera lens. For the past decade she has been a fixture backstage at London, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks, including Couture Week, refining a precise, efficient approach to beauty. She has worked with artists including Kylie Minogue, Mel C, Eve and actor Michelle Keegan, alongside leading photographers, models and stylists. Indeed, her work has featured in the hallowed pages of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia and Numéro, and she has been trusted for major cultural events including the MTV Awards and BAFTA Awards. And to top off an already impressive CV, in 2025 she was recognised as one of the top 17 makeup artists in Europe. Alongside editorial work, Mackay is in demand as a bridal artist across Europe, from Ibiza to Italy, Spain and France. Through Jamface, she offers understated, edited makeup looks for discerning brides.
