Ester Chianelli designs weddings from Naples, where she founded her eponymous agency, the Ester Chianelli Italian Wedding Agency – though the events themselves run the length of Italy, from the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento to Capri, Ravello, Tuscany, Lake Como and the Costa Smeralda. She took an unusual route to becoming a wedding planner, starting her career as a television correspondent reporting from more than thirty countries, which left her with both an eye for a story and an instinct for production. Indeed, her artistry is in spatial design – she composes a courtyard or a stretch of coastline for emotion, movement and meaning. She acts as the couple’s eyes and ears on the ground, which matters most on a destination wedding planned from hundreds of miles away: she is the one seeing the venue, meeting the suppliers and negotiating the terms. Her expertise is recognised industry-wide: RSVP Club named her Best Wedding Planner in 2025 and Best Destination Planner in 2026. The agency takes just fifteen couples a year – which means Ester, with her name on the door, is the one running your wedding end-to-end.
