Crockwell is a family-run exclusive wedding venue at the bucolic heart of South Northamptonshire. This working farm is spread across 400 acres of pastoral fields, seasonal gardens, and rewilded meadows; the estate feels like a private world, framed by big skies and sheep-strewn horizons. Owners Hermione and Bay Harper, with a dedicated, much-loved on-site team, have combined deep local knowledge, warm, proactive hospitality, and a sustainability-first ethos to deliver authentically elegant, effortless weddings for over twenty years. Ceremonies capture Crockwell’s charm, from al fresco under an oak arbour in the surround of a damson, lime, and cherry orchard to the restored Vaulted Barn, with soaring oak beams and honeyed stone walls (though if you fall in love with another space, it’s yours: every inch of Crockwell is licensed). Couples have exclusive access from the day before, allowing the estate to become a personal playground for welcome suppers, drinks, Ross & Ross catered dinners (much raved about), dancing (for up to 200) and morning debriefs. 32 lucky guests can rest their heads in the Provençal farmhouse and converted outbuildings, with a variety of choices from Dryden Cottage to the full farmhouse, particularly good for a family to take over.

From the moment my husband and I first visited Crockwell Farm, we just knew it was the one. And honestly, we couldn’t have made a better choice. The team at Crockwell were incredible. So friendly, patient, and genuinely supportive throughout the whole process. No question ever felt too small, and on the day itself, our coordinator kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, which meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment. Food is a big deal for us, and we were blown away by what was served on the day. Crockwell work exclusively with Ross & Ross catering, and they absolutely nailed it. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! Crockwell also handled all the communication with our other suppliers seamlessly. We used several of their recommended suppliers and completely understand why they’re on that list – they were all fantastic. We wanted a venue that felt relaxed and rustic, with plenty of space and on-site accommodation – and Crockwell gave us all that and more. One of the things we loved most was having the whole weekend, it meant we could really settle in, enjoy the build-up, and not feel rushed. The accommodation was beautiful – comfy, cosy, and thoughtfully done. Crockwell was everything we hoped for – and more. We’ll be forever grateful.
