About

Set amongst the rolling hills of Herefordshire, Brinsop Court is a Grade I listed, 14th-century manor
house estate offering exclusive-use weddings on a scale that makes the word ‘venue’ feel inadequate.
Encircled by a moat, backed by ancient woodland and 800 acres of farmland, this family-owned estate
is known for its warm hospitality and experienced events team. Brinsop works closely with couples and
trusted suppliers to deliver exceptional food, seamless coordination and thoughtful hospitality
throughout.

Celebrations move naturally between spaces of genuine historical character: the mediaeval Banqueting Hall with its soaring vaulted ceiling and carbon-dated beams; the Elizabethan Library crowned by a breathtaking plasterwork ceiling; and the oak Knot Barn whose floor-to-ceiling windows open onto the Herefordshire countryside. Outdoors, the Ancient Courtyard, Wordsworth Lawn and woodland ceremony space offer equally compelling alternatives, as does the mediaeval St George’s Church, less than a five-minute walk away. The 18-bedroom manor sleeps up to 33, with two further cottages and a glamping woodland for the wider party – lending the whole weekend the atmosphere of a house party on an epic scale.

Why Our Editors Love

  • Taking possession of the entire manor, grounds and barn creates a celebration that feels genuinely private and completely your own.
  • From the atmospheric medieval Banqueting Hall to the Knot Barn, each ceremony space offers
    centuries of in-built character.
  • With 18 bedrooms in the manor, cottages and a glamping woodland, the whole affair takes on
the easy, convivial warmth of a mega house party.
