Leez Priory is a red brick 16th-century Tudor mansion in the petite parish of Little Leighs in Essex. This dedicated wedding venue is just over an hour from London with a historic pedigree that stretches all the way to the 12th century. Among the 40 acres of picture-perfect parkland are babbling brooks, a croquet lawn, fishermen’s cottages and barns, all exclusively yours. There are eight individualised spaces to exchange vows at the Leez: al fresco framed by the majestic symmetry of the Great Tower, on the banks of a glassy lake, or inside, there is the grand dame Great Hall or a romantic exposed-beam barn space in the Coach House. Either of the latter work well as a setting for a wedding reception, with epic menus that pull from local produce (that you will, naturally, be invited to sample beforehand). There are 25 on-site bedrooms, including courtyard rooms and several family-friendly cottages, as well as a Honeymoon Suite hidden in a private corner of the estate. The award-winning, around-the-clock team has over 30 years of experience and will include a personal wedding manager, working with you to bring your wedding vision to life.
All of our guests mentioned how stunning the venue is. The gardens were well manicured, beautiful gardens, lawns and flowers around the grounds of the venue. The bedrooms were all impeccable and beautifully decorated, well-kept and very clean. Our Personal Wedding Manager Leanne, who was out of this world and such a lovely lady!

I have never experienced such an event when all the guests expressed such praise, compliments, and surprise at the quality of the arrangements, facilities and service provided. I am astonished at how well the wedding was organised, and how smoothly it ran. Every member of your staff throughout the day delivered excellent service, particularly our truly amazing Personal Wedding Manager. Nothing seemed too much for her to deal with, and her manner remained so calm, welcoming and positive throughout the day. A perfect example of a guardian angel!
